Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF)

The Manual Handling Operations Regulation places no weight limits on lifting and carrying loads and amendments made in 2002 now require personnel with adequate knowledge or training. sufficient or appropriate to be able to assess whether the movement can be safely carried out. The regulations apply to almost any work environment, from offices to nursing homes and factories. There are different risks involved in different fields and this accredited degree offers learning outcomes that are suitable for everyone.

 The diploma includes:

• Reasons for safe movement and handling
• The importance of risk assessment
• Principles of safe manual handling
• The safe application of manual handling skills

Certifications are an effective way to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and understand the principles of safe lifting and moving.
